Kinespin’s centrifugal washer/dryers with vertical processing tanks are said to include separate feed and return pumps with in-line filtration when required. The company’s fully automatic systems provide a method for handling various washing and drying applications in a single machine.
According to the company, these systems can generate centrifugal force of more than 300x gravity to quickly remove most process lubricants from the parts being cleaned. Subsequently, various wash, spray or swirl cycles used in conjunction with aqueous or other dissolving solutions are added to remove other residual particulate. The centrifugal force, combined with machine design, swirling and reverse rotation, is said to produce unrestricted airflow through and across the parts during the cleaning and rinse cycles. The company says that this ensures removal of most fluids from the parts during the drying cycle minimizing fluid marks and spotting.RELATED CONTENT
