The Galileo AV350 video measurement system by The L.S. Starrett Company is an intermediate travel multi-sensor metrology instrument offering a large, square 14" × 14" (350 mm x 350 mm) X/Y work area and extra Z-clearance at 8" (200 mm). The large Z-clearance, combined with extra rigidity provides the necessary space for multi-sensor attachments, including  vision, contact probe and laser scanning.

The color optical system provides a zoom magnification ratio of 12 to 1 with a programmable magnification range from 15 × to 550 × (on screen) with auxiliary lenses. An LED illuminator or triple output fiber-optic, ring light and co-axial illumination provides exceptional lighting. Dark field simulated LED ring light, quadrant controllable, is also available.

The system includes Metronics Quadra-Chek QC-5000 3D metrology software with video edge detection and full CNC control. Using the MS Windows operating system, QC-5000 software is full-featured and intuitive. It allows you to obtain, store, manage and distribute precision measurement data directly from the lab or the shop floor.
