TurretJet Universal Coolant Nozzles are now rated for operating pressures up to 150 psi (originally 40 psi). This allows them to be used in many machine tools having high pressure coolant pumps. TurretJets fit both NPT and BSPT threads, are rugged, compact, quick and easy to aim, and are difficult to accidentally knock out of adjustment (for example, due to tangled swarf). They are said to often be a superior alternative to copper tubing or segmented hose. By rotating the acetal body and swiveling the stainless steel ball, it is possible to hit any target above the mounting plane. TurretJets are said to be ideal for CNC lathes, machining centers and screw machines or can be combined with standard pipe fittings to suit a wide range of applications.
