Goodson Tools & Supplies for Engine Builders’ extended drive aircraft valve seat grinder replaces the model made by Sioux. It features an extended nose assembly for use with Lycoming and Continental engines common in aviation engines. It can also be used for applications where valve guides are relatively parallel to the cylinder bore, the company says.

The grinder is available in both 110V and 220V models. According to the company, other features include a heavy duty electric motor; a spline (star) drive for use with Sioux-style stone holders; 11,500 rpm (free speed) and 6,982 rpm under load; a 3/5 HP, 7.5 AMP motor; and a weight of 12 pounds.
