RoboVent’s Vista360 is a ductless, ceiling-mounted dust collector that combines a traditional push-pull dust collection system and a standalone dust collector. Using multiple collectors, the dust collector creates circular air patterns in the facility that continually pull contaminated air into the filtration unit and push clean, filtered air back into the plant, the company says.
However, since it does not require a ductwork system, it is easier to install, reconfigure and maintain. It’s the ambient solution to capture fumes and dust from manual welding, metalworking and other industrial applications.
According to the company, the dust collector has easy installation and is less intrusive and won’t interfere with overhead cranes or production equipment; it eliminates ductwork and saves money upfront and energy later on; it saves 10-20 percent on initial installation and reduces energy use by 10-15 percent compared to traditional ducted push-pull systems; it has floor space savings as dust collectors are overhead and out of the way, where they won’t impact floor space; it has very low maintenance as everything is easily accessible for fast filter changes and maintenance; the single filter design makes filter change out fast and easy; the eTell system simplifies maintenance; and there’s flexibility as whenever the floor configuration needs to be changed, the dust collector can be moved right along with production equipment, without rerouting any ductwork.
