Boeing Approves Lenium GS Solvent for Vapor Degreasing
Petroferm’s Lenium GS precision solvent has been approved by Boeing per its BAC 5408 Vapor Degreasing Specification (PSD 6-68).
Petroferm’s Lenium GS precision solvent has been approved by Boeing per its BAC 5408 Vapor Degreasing Specification (PSD 6-68). The solvent is based on stabilized n-propyl bromide and is designed to operate in open-top and vacuum vapor degreasing equipment. It has been used as a drop-in replacement for trichloroethylene, HCFC-141b, HCFC-225, hydrofluoroethers, hydrofluorocarbons, perchloroethylene and methylene chloride. The solvent also is approved for cleaning components by Bell Helicopter, Praxair and Scott Aviation.
