Big Plus is a universal simultaneous taper and flange contact spindle system unifies spindle builders to accept one specification for interchangeable dual contact of the toolholder. The system can be used with CAT, DIN, BT and almost any steep taper shank system. It achieves dual contact by eliminating the gap or space between spindle face and toolholder flange face, the company says. The spindle system dictates the dimensions of the spindle face of a licensed machine builder and the flange face of the toolholder. One of the main features of the system is interchangeability with existing toolholders and machine spindles.
