A line of CNC turning centers, the Storm T-Series, is available in two, three and five axis models. Storm "M" models offer milling power of 5-hp tool drive motor for both radial and axial milling, drilling, boring and tapping operations. Third axes live turret-mounted tooling adds flexability and large production gains by cutting the number of setups and operations. The C-axis positioning increment of 0.001 degree is fully programmable and contouring is selected by M code. Five axes subspindle "single-hit" machines add a second spindle to Storm T6MS and T8MS turning centers allowing the benefit of "single-hit" machining. By transferring the component to the second spindle, additional turning and milling operations can be complemented, finishing the job in a "single hit."

The two and three axis CNC turning cneter have the GE Fanuc 21iT B series CNC control, with Manual Guide T software where all procedures carried out manually or combined with cycles, can be learned step-by-step by the CNC control and repeated as required.
