Udo Herbes is the new managing director of Starrag U.S., effective May 1.
Mr. Herbes has 36 years of experience in the machine industry at companies such as Gildemeister, Mikron and Hurco in Asia and Germany. In 2006, he moved to the U.S. and became the managing director for the West Coast Division of DMG America. Mr. Herbes continued in this position through the 2009 DMG/Mori Seike collaboration until his appointment at Starrag U.S.
