The Greenlight Fluid Monitor from Houghton International is a self-contained, continuous measurement system for monitoring metalworking fluids. This system is said to be especially useful for the automotive, aerospace, metals and machinery industries. The company says that the system not only delivers control, but enables longer tool life, reduction of additives and lower maintenance, metalworking fluid and waste treatment costs.
The monitor includes a sensor housing and flow-through adaptor with two push-to-connect fluid ports. The sensor housing and adapter are detachable for easy cleaning or maintenance, according to the company. Red, yellow and green lights indicate if fluid concentration is within specified programmable process parameters.
