The Robo-Trex automation system from Lang has the ability to attach to either new or existing machine tools, according to the company. Loading can be done through the machine door or an integrated side window. Because of the low height of the zero-point clamping system, fixed five-axis tables can also be automated and an articulate robot with integrated grippers ensure accessibility to the machine table. The zero-point clamping system can be operated either pneumatically through the machine tool or mechanically through the robot.

The vises are mounted vertically in specifically designed carts for optimal use of space, featuring a storage capacities of either 30 or 42 Makro-Grip five-axis vises per cart. Because of the direct engagement of the vises, additional support pallets are not needed, according to the company.
