Vomat says its Micro-Filtration Systems are well suited for the filtration of microparticles in lubricants used in processes such as grinding, honing, lapping and eroding. These high-performance backflushing cartridge filter systems are said to feature highly accurate temperature control, automatically controlled sludge sedimentation and online monitoring to avoid any shutdowns of the filtration system during production.

The company says an HSS prefilter can be easily retrofitted into any of its systems due to a modular machine concept. The filtration systems range from stand-alone to whole plant systems, and are designed for easy adaptability to customer-specific requirements. With an array of optional add-on equipment, users can expand the systems to respond to changing needs in capacity or product quality.

Only through the use of extremely clean grinding oils can high-quality tools be ground economically and reliably against increasingly tight tolerance requirements, the company says. To meet these requirements, Vomat says it provides compact, powerful and energy-efficient solutions for North America’s metal processing industry. It is said the solutions can be individually tailored filtration systems which are well suited for cleaning and maintaining accurate temperature of metal coolants.

Vomat offers customized troubleshooting and flexible services for its range of high-performance filters —which are said to ensure productivity, optimized quality and ultimately increased profit.
