Fixed-Head CNC Lathe Enables Back Machining
Eastec 2019: Marubeni Citizen-Cincom’s Miyano BNA-42S2 fixed-head CNC lathe is said to be stable, accurate and strong with a compact body.
Marubeni Citizen-Cincom’s Miyano BNA-42S2 fixed-head CNC lathe is said to be stable, accurate and strong with a compact body. Its two spindles and one turret enable back machining.
Multiple toolholders enable the use of many tools for flexibility within the machine’s compact design. The eight-station turret offers half indexing and is said to standardize setups and speed change-over to a different workpiece. With a number of standard accessories and NC functions, the BNA-42S2 is a cost-effective way to increase productivity without losing quality, the company says.
The Miyano BNA-42S2 will be on display with the MSL65 short loader as well as four Cincom Swiss-type lathes, two Miyano fixed-head lathes, the Laser L2000, Citizen LFV technology, servo wire ejection, and bar loaders.
