Hurco’s Max5 control is said to be more powerful with the 3D Import feature, which includes 3D DXF technology. This control feature enables users to load files directly into the company’s control.

3D Import creates the transform plane data blocks in conversational programming for five-sided programs. Additionally, the integrated control powered by WinMax is a flexible control, in addition to being equipped with more memory and processing power out of the box: 2.7GHz dual-core processor, 4 GB RAM memory, a 128 GB solid state hard drive, 10,000 block lookahead, and an intuitive graphical user interface that supports multiple machining strategies.

The company’s line of CNC machining centers are equipped with the sophisticated motion control system that is said to determine the optimal trajectory to run the tool, provides consistent programmed feed rates and reduces cycle time. With this motion control system called UltiMotion, cornering velocity is 2.5 times faster than conventional motion, machine jerk is said to be reduced by half; and because the software adapts as required by the tool path, dynamic variable lookahead can be as much as 10,000 blocks.
