Winn Manufacturing’s Speed Lock 6" vise features a quick-change jaw system for short setup time and productivity. This angle-lock machine vise has an industry-standard 3-7/8 hole-pattern to accommodate an existing vise jaw.

The vise locks the jaws into place with a set of round nuts and cap screws. The jaw assembly drops into the mounting blocks’ hole/slot combination and locks into place with a half-turn of the cap screw, according to the company. From start to finish, a complete vise jaw change-over is said to take less than 30 seconds.

The vise can be used on both the inside and the outside of the mounting blocks. Because it doesn’t use a master jaw, there’s no reduction to the vise’s workpiece opening. The vise’s flexibility also means that the user can buy standard vise jaws or make them in-house from aluminum, steel or plastic bar stock.
