Haimer balancing machines will help you balance tool holder assemblies, facemills and grinding wheels in 1 or 2 planes. Balanced assemblies will improve surface finish, create less vibration and may reduce your cycle time by allowing you to run faster. The balancing software allows you to correct the unbalance by drilling holes, milling flats, using balancing rings or balancing weights such as screws. Available with optional PC and printer interface for balance documentaion. Machine is available with integrated tool presetter, and will accomodate CAT, HSK, BT, SK and CAPTO spindle tapers. |

Haimer announced that the cutting tools manufactured by Dauphin Precision Tool LLC and Berkshire Precision Tool LLC have become official Safe-Lock licensees. This licensing allows the companies to add the Safe-Lock modification to the shanks of their Brubaker, Data Flute, Fastcut and Weldon cutting tools if so desired by their customers.

Haimer USA entered a partnership agreement with the Institute for Manufacturing Productivity at York Technical College (Rock Hill, S.C.). By supplying equipment to the school, the company gives students, and those already working in the manufacturing industry who receive training at York, exposure to processes that can make them and their employers more successful.
