Grind, Drill, Bore And Mill All In One
The G5 grinder horizontal machining center is capable of grinding, drilling, boring and milling all on the same machine. Using a single machine to grind and mill helps to eliminate setups, work in process, stack up errors because of multiple setups, reduces fixture costs with five-axis capability and simplifies the manufacturing  process with NC-controlled intermittent dress, according to the company. The machining center is a full five-axis machine, with a B axis of 0.

Horizontal Machining Centers For High-Production Machining
Makino's J3 horizontal machining center is a high-speed, high-production machine especially useful for high-volume parts manufacturing and numerous forms of automation and part transfer, especially for small automotive components and die cast aluminum parts. The machine can reduce overall costs by providing faster machining because of the higher spindle speeds and axis acceleration and deceleration. Non-cutting time is further reduced because of fast automatic tool changing and quick table index time, the company says.
