Ugine Stainless & Alloys Becomes Ugitech USA

Ugine Stainless & Alloys (Doylestown, Pennsylvania) announced that it has become part of the newly formed company Schmolz + Bickenbach AG (Düsseldorf, Germany) and will operate as Ugitech USA, responsible for all sales and distribution of Ugitech division products in North America.

Methods Machine Tools, Inc. (Sudbury, Massachusetts) announces its partnership with Toyoda Machinery USA (Arlington Heights, Illinois) to sell the company’s new line of vertical machining centers and bridge and gantry machining centers through its direct sales offices across the country. In addition, Methods will distribute Toyoda horizontal machining centers and cylindrical grinders in Arizona and Colorado. Kennametal Inc. (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) has selected Hagemeyer North America as a strategic partner to promote the Cle-Line brand of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) cutting tools in North America. This decision provides customers in every major market in the United States, Canada and Mexico with access to the Cle-Line brand.These brand cutting tools, which include high-quality drills, taps and dies, are manufactured to meet the specific needs of a variety of MRO applications and are sold exclusively through industrial distributors. Mori Seiki USA (Rolling Meadows, Illinois) launched the Machining Technology Laboratory (MTL) , a new business entity dedicated to enhancing manufacturers’ overall machining processes. Through both partnerships with other industry leaders and unilateral internal development, MTL will develop new technologies beyond the scope of machine tool design, providing performance improvements in areas such as cutting tools and workholding.
