Did you catch this story from our July issue? Wilson Bohannan has been manufacturing padlocks for 155 years. The company’s secret to success is its continuous investment in innovation and technology.

When the need arose to create a higher volume of lock bodies—parts within a large family of products—the company wanted a single automated cell to replace a number of machines, secondary operations and hand transportation between processes. The decision was made to purchase an EPIC R/T HS-16 from Hydromat. The machine has 16 horizontal machining stations and two vertical stations, each equipped with a 3-axis CNC flange.

Read “An American Success Story” for more information about the machine and what led Wilson Bohannan to this productive decision.
