Founded in 1958, initially providing through-feed centerless grinding services, today the company also provides precision ground bar materials and is equipped for in-feed centerless grinding and the manufacture of ultra-precise gages.

This year, Boston Centerless celebrates its 60th anniversary. The company was founded in 1958 by Len Tamasi with a single centerless grinder, initially providing through-feed centerless grinding services. Today, the AccuRod Division supplies precision ground bar materials, the GrindAll Division provides through-feed and in-feed centerless grinding services on customer supplied components and material, and the PinGage Division manufactures ultra-precise gages.

The company’s corporate location is a 45,000-square-foot facility in Woburn, Massachusetts, and it also has three distribution centers located in Woburn; Cleveland, Ohio; and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
