Macdac Engineering’s Excellerant system enables small to large manufacturers the ability to connect CNC machine tool controllers, enabling the management of each machine’s data. According to the company, this is a machine tool decoder link to simplify data-driven manufacturing at the shop floor level, enabling companies to link across systems while expanding and customizing the information they receive. Unlike other control systems, this product features the ability to link with a variety of different control systems, enabling manufacturers to keep their systems.

The system is designed for ease of use across operational levels. This is said to be achieved through a graphical user interface, logical functionality and convenient output types. Machine operators communicate problems, request assistance and report progress at the touch of a button. Supervisors assess cycle time, downtime and process status by a job, machine type or operator. Reports are run in real-time, with feeds from machine controllers through to the ERP level. This is said to enable timely assessments of progress, capacity and bottlenecks, and enables accurate forecasts and dynamic scheduling, according to the company
