Oelheld’s Sintogrind grinding oil.
Oelheld’s Sintogrind TC-X 630 is an entry-level option for its series of grinding oils. The oil is made from gas-to-liquid (GTL) base oils. GTL technology converts natural gas into high-quality liquid products that otherwise would be made from crude oil. GTL base oils are colorless and odorless and contain almost none of the impurities found in crude oil, such as sulfur, aromatics and nitrogen, Oelheld says.
Sintogrind TC-X 630 is designed for flute grinding, profile grinding and ODand ID grinding. It works on a variety of materials including tungsten carbide, HSS, PCD, CBN, cermet and ceramics. According to the company, the oil contains no hazardous elements and exhibits stable viscosity over a wide temperature spectrum.
