DMG MORI is hosting a digital open house Feb. 2-4 for its Pfronten location. The event includes live presentations as well as expert talks on industry trends and developments — available in six languages and supplemented by market-specific content. DMG MORI kicks off the event with the latest technological developments, while the other days will focus on automation and digitization.

During the event’s “Meet your Expert” presentations, visitors have the opportunity to discuss specific topics online with their contacts. In the Digital Showroom, DMG MORI will present over 25 exhibits as realistic high-tech machines — many of them as automated manufacturing solutions. During the Q & A rounds, viewers can ask live questions of the speakers in the studio in Pfronten for increased interactivity.

“As long as physical events are only possible to a limited extent, our focus will also be on interactive exchange with our customers and interested parties,” says Irene Bader, director of DMG MORI Global Marketing.

The company says the digital event will cover innovative software products for a future-proof manufacturing environment. This includes highlighting automation with greater flexibility and efficiency through its PH Wheel pallet handling system and TH-AGV, a driverless transport system, to increase efficiency, quality and flexibility. Experts will also discuss the CLX 450 TC, which offers 100% setup time reduction thanks to B-axis factor.

Other product highlights include the M1, an all-purpose machine for everyday use with 3-axis CNC universal milling machines belong in every workshop. DMG MORI will also highlight the DMF 300|8 for constant milling performance on 3,000 mm traverse path. It features a 3,000-mm long table offering users flexibility in the machining of long workpieces – across the entire table width or by means of cut-off wheel in two separate workspaces.
