Keyence’s WM-6000 Series is a portable, handheld CMM and 3D scanner designed to be used for everything from R&D to quality control. The wide area CMM enables easy dimensional measurement and 3D scanning of large parts. The CMM features an easy-to-use probe that enables users to quickly and accurately measure features like flatness and straightness.

 The CMM’s applications are diverse, ranging from automotive parts to medical devices. The system’s enhanced features give manufacturers a proper quality control tool to ensure that products are within specification across the production process. 

The WM-6000’s full-CMM and CAD capabilities enable 3D/GD&T measurements, contour profile checks, CAD comparison and reverse-engineering. The CAD software can be integrated with other software such as Polyworks. From design and prototyping to production and final inspection, the WM-6000 is an efficient tool to improve the quality control process of any industry.
