Rettificatrici Ghiringhelli presents centerless grinding machines, starting with model EP250.
Rettificatrici Ghiringhelli’s centerless grinding machine, model EP250, contains the technical features for high precision, automatic through-feed operations of components between 1.5 mm and 50 mm. This machine includes a mineral casting frame, enabling material absorption and thermal stability. The machine dynamics are based on high-precision, pre-loaded roller guideways.
The machine includes both a grinding wheel (508 × 250 mm) at 22 kW and a control wheel (305 × 250 mm) at 1.5 kW. The grinding wheel can reach a constant speed of 50 meters per second. An automatic grinding wheel balancing unit is optional. The user interface is implemented in the Siemens 808D advanced NC unit with integrated PLC.
Updates and alerts from diagnostic maintenance are sent through texts to ensure safety. Fully enclosed but accessible, the machine can be equipped with specific loading and unloading systems, which can be controlled by through-feed grinding cycles.
