FANUC America now offers three new online CNC training courses. The online learning programs offer a flexible, cost-effective way for users to develop expert-level knowledge of factory automation and CNC programming at a time and place that is convenient for them. Students receive FANUC Academic Certification upon successful completion of the course material and evaluations.
The online education system offered by FANUC is designed to provide comprehensive content in a robust, interactive learning environment. Courses include 20 to 30 hours of learning material focused on helping users become fully proficient in machining center programming, turning center programming and parametric programming using FANUC Custom Macros.
FANUC worked closely with CNC Concepts Inc. to develop online courses that follow the proven key concepts approach. This approach to education helps users understand the reasoning behind the processes in addition to teaching the processes. Each lesson builds on the information taught in the previous lesson, and provides a logical “show-me” tutorial method of instruction. Upon completion of the course, students should possess a solid understanding of how to get a machine up and into production.
Each course includes access to the FANUC eLearning online educational system, a one-year license for NCGuide CNC Simulation Software, email access to dedicated training instructors, all study material, exercises and tests.
