SME and AMT - The Association For Manufacturing Technology hosted an event Tuesday evening during EASTEC to announce the creation of the Smart Manufacturing Experience, which will take place April 30 through May 2, 2018, at the Boston Convention Center.

Described as “more than an event,” the Smart Manufacturing Experience will provide hands-on, live technology demonstrations, interactive learning labs, collaborative technical workshops, and tours of “best-in-class” smart factories. It will highlight transformative technologies such as additive manufacturing, automation, advanced materials, precision machining, precision measurement/3D scanning, IIoT and digital manufacturing. Participants will gain a better understanding of efficient solutions for applying those technologies to improve manufacturing speed and performance.
