CNC Slotting Tools that fit driven broaching units can significantly improve cycle times for production broaching. The push-type broaching tools are meant for keyway slotting and spline broaching. Linear broaching on lathes eliminates the second step of moving a part to an additional operation such as a keyseater.

This video is from a CNC Broach Tools LLC client that is cutting 56HRc 4140 motor shafts. CNC Broach Tools carries a line of tooling to fit the MD Tooling live lathe power broaching head. MD Tooling is a distributor for MT Marchetti broaching toolholders.
