MC Machinery Systems Names Tony Imbrogno CEO

Tony Imbrogno is the first American CEO of the Mitsubishi Corp. subsidiary since its founding in 1978.

MC Machinery Systems has promoted Tony Imbrogno to CEO. He is the first American CEO of the Mitsubishi Corp. subsidiary since its founding in 1978.
 
Imbrogno earned a bachelor’s degree in electronic technology engineering from DeVry University in Chicago and completed the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management Finance for Executives program. He began his career at MC Machinery in 1986 as a field service engineer and went on to hold management and executive positions, including his most recent 7-year stint as senior vice president of operations, customer service and support.
  
Founded in 1978, MC Machinery has more than 430 employees in North America. In addition to its headquarters in Elk Grove Village, Illinois., it has technology centers in Concord, North Carolina; Cypress, California; Pine Brook, New Jersey; Dallas, Texas; Querétaro, Mexico; and Richmond Hill in Ontario, Canada.

The company is a North American supplier and servicer of fabrication and machining equipment, including Mitsubishi lasers, EDMs, automation systems and press brakes. It serves industries such as aerospace, mold and die, job shops, medical and energy.
  
Outgoing MC Machinery CEO Tomoo Yoshikawa will be returning to the Mitsubishi Corp. in Tokyo. Hiroto Shindo is the incoming MC Machinery chief operating officer, a newly created position. Shindo most recently was managing director of MC Machinery Systems-India. Prior to that, he was deputy general manager at Mitsubishi Corporation-Tokyo, where he was responsible for overseeing the global machine tools and agricultural equipment business.
