With support for FANUC, Yaskawa, ABB, Staubli, Epson, UR robots and more, Forge/OS 5 offers a single programming interface for hundreds of models of collaborative and industrial robots, as well as the peripherals required for automation.

Forge/OS 5’s open platform enables machine builders and software developers to create solutions and applications that can scale across robot brands, the company says. The software also enables manufacturers to deploy virtually any robot with their existing team, so that OEMs and machine builders can create solutions that work seamlessly with more than 250 robots and countless peripherals.

The software empowers companies to manage their own automation without needing deep expertise in robot programming by reducing the complexity for those utilizing multiple robot brands and peripherals on their production floor. It does this abstracting away brand-specific robot programming languages, and making grippers and other peripheral hardware straightforward to integrate. According to the company, any robot powered by Forge/OS 5 can be easily programmed by operators by using Task Canvas, Ready’s no-code programming app.

The Forge/OS 5 was built to be a developer-friendly, open platform that facilitates third-party development.
