Krueger Steel & Wire has been in the cold-drawn bar and bright basic wire business for 77 years. It carries a wide range of wire and steel products, including cold-drawn bar, hot roll rod, bright basic wire, plating quality wire, cold-heading wire and more.
It is a niche supplier in the industry with production of rounds up to 1", hexagons and squares up to 5/8” in all carbon and alloy grades. In 2023, it obtained additional equipment to increase those ranges to 1 ¼" in rounds and 1" in hexagons.
Krueger’s wire business enables it to produce items up to 1 3/16" in most low carbon grades with coils up to 4,000 lbs per carrier.
