Methods Machine Tools’ MV-1000L three-axis vertical machining center is well-suited for any shop, the company says. It offers high-end features such as 19 hand-scraped surfaces, alpha-series FANUC motors and a Big-Plus, dual-contact spindle.

The machining center weighs 15,432 lbs and is made of sturdy construction and premium components, enabling it to handle demanding machining challenges. Powered by 20 hp and a 12,000 rpm, 40-taper spindle, the company says the machine can tackle any job. Whether it’s roughing engine block or finishing a medical implant, it is designed to provide the utmost rigidity, speed and reliability.

The MV-1000L also has a FANUC 0i-MF Plus control with 200 block look-head and 2 MB of part program storage, macro B, remote manual pulse generator (MPG) and a comprehensive thermal compensation system. The company says it is engineered to precise standards, fully inspected to meet strict quality and design specifications, and it complies with ISO/ASME standards.
