These PMTS Tech Talks Dial in on Benchmarking and Next Gen Leaders
CEOs from MachineMetrics and Core Powered Inc. present separate Tech Talks to help you get an in-depth look at the industry from different perspectives.
Are you planning to attend PMTS 2019 this year? If so, don’t miss the PMTS Tech Talks for a deep dive to learn more about a specific product or process.
On April 2, from 3 to 3:30 p.m., for the first time, Bill Bither, CEO, MachineMetrics will present, “Benchmarking Performance: Where Do You Stand Versus Your Competition?” He will share insights from the company’s real-data driven benchmarking reports on machine performance. The release of this new capability allows MachineMetrics customers to understand their machine performance relative to their peers that can be segmented by type of machine and industry.
During this Tech Talk, held in the Tech Talk Theater in the back of Hall A, Mr. Bither can help you answer questions including:
- Do you know what goes on your shop floor in real-time?
- Do you know how efficient your machines are?
- Do you know what the main sources of downtime and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) are?
- Do you know where you stand relative to your competitors?
- Do you want to know how to successfully implement Industrial IoT and Industry 4.0 technology at your facility?
On April 3, from 3 to 3:30 p.m., Charles Ruecker, founder and CEO, Core Powered, will present, “Manufacturing Technology & The Next Generation Leader.” This Tech Talk is targeted to the next generation of leadership and is designed to share insight on how significant technology and its application will be changing, and how your strategic and tactical thinking should evolve with this in order to thrive in the workforce, according to Mr. Ruecker.

PMTS’s showfloor demonstrations are scheduled opportunities for attendees to see technology live without other distractions in the booth. Put time aside for these events that allow you to see the latest equipment in action, with company personnel available to answer questions.
To get a feel for the current hot topics in parts cleaning prior to the show, I asked several of the exhibitors what attendees should expect the show “buzz” to be as well as their thoughts and insights about the show and conference.
