Annika Langéen is now the vice president of marketing for the Americas, Sandvik Coromant. Ms. Langéen is responsible for the strategic direction of global marketing and brand positioning for the sales area.
Ms. Langéen brings her business acumen, strong familiarity of the metal cutting industry and solid understanding of sales and business processes to the Americas marketing team. She joins the team after a five-year career as the V.P. of sales for Nordic countries within the Northern European market.
Ms. Langéen joined Sandvik Coromant in 2014 as regional sales manager South Sweden and was appointed to V.P. of sales for Nordic countries in 2016. In her new role, she is accountable for the strategic direction of global marketing and brand positioning. Ms. Langéen holds Master’s degrees in technology management and science; and chemical engineering and technology from Lund University in Sweden.

My focus is to further develop our dynamic team of marketing professionals, so we can provide customers with a more personalized and valuable experience wherever they choose to interact with us, whether on the web, via social media channels, at trade shows and events and when visiting our production facilities and Sandvik Coromant centers for training and other events.”
Ms. Langéen’s home base is at our Schaumburg, Illinois, office which is also the location of our Sandvik Coromant Center.
