Ugitech, part of the Schmolz + Bickenbach Group, expands its line of materials with Ugima-XD material. The material is said to offer increased feeds and speeds, improved part quality and reduced machining times. The product offers the option of optimized tolerances (4 mm-80 mm) that are said to eliminate bar vibrations—even at speeds as fast as 10,000 rpm—and provide tighter dimensional tolerances and further improved straightness. The tolerance advantages of screw machine quality provide ground bar tolerances in cold drawn products.
